Después de 10 años de usar una mountain bike de aluminio con suspensión me compre ésta bicicleta . En la ciudad sentí el cambio de pasar a una bicicleta sin suspensión, notaba más duro al bajar de las veredas pero en ruta me sorprendió! Va muy bien en asfalta y va muy bien en tierra y en piedras, incluso en descensos . No extraño para nada la suspensión delantera, estoy muy conforme . Al igual que otro comentario ,no me gusta mucho el sistema de suspensión en el asiento, eso si me trajo problemas y le puse tija fija que me da más seguridad para viajes largos

Bought this bike as a modern geometry hard tail that did not break the bank. The thunder is a perfect single track ripper. Excels on flowy single track as a steel hard tail should. Installed 100mm fork and increased the performance level. Love the external routing, A bike I can work on! Breezer customer service has been excellent. Thunder. Highly recommended.

Bought this bike via an authorized dealer. I use it for mountain bike trail riding, a lot of rocky single track in New England. I have ridden this bike on every trail that I used ride with my full suspension. It can handle it, including 3-4 foot drops! I’ve had the most fun riding on this bike, even more than my full suspension and hardtail. There’s something about the efficiency of the rigid frame that I love. The steel frame absorbs much more contact than I could have imagined. Climbs well and provides plenty of confidence on descents. The stock components are fine and you can have a blast right out of the box. It is all very reliable. I have watched my friends on expensive E-Bikes have to quit rides to mess with different complicated components. You will never have that problem on this bike. Anything you add will be for preference. If I absolutely had to complain about something on this bike it’d be that the dropper post isn’t the best, but it absolutely works. I added carbon handlebars which adds some comfort. I also set the bike up tubeless.

I bought this because I wanted a modern rigid steel mountain bike. I haven’t gone bikepacking, which I’m sure it would be great for. I mainly ride singletrack in the PNW. The stock parts that came on mine are solid and reliable, especially the drivetrain, dropper, and brakes. The frame is bomber and well designed, with geometry that rides with stability, good power transfer, and doesn’t beat you up. I rode it rigid for a year and eventually threw a 120mm fork on because I was taking on steeper and more challenging terrain, and it was hard on my wrists and hands. Other minor changes I made to make the bike more suitable for my purpose of pure single track riding were upping the brake rotor sizes and putting a 30t chainring on the front. While I loved it as a rigid bike, with a suspension fork this is a ripper of a hardtail. This bike loves to be leaned into corners aggressively, it climbs great, and handles steep descents confidently. I’m riding it all over places where everyone else is on full suspension bikes and this bike just eats it up. It’s a beautiful looking bike too and people compliment and ask about it often. Wanted to post this review of the bike as I am using it purely for trail riding, in fairly aggressive terrain around Portland, OR. I LOVE the Breezer Thunder!
